Samuel E. Ledbetter

Sam is recognized as one of Arkansas’s best environmental law and litigation attorneys. Since 1985, he has represented individuals, communities, environmental organizations, and companies in a variety of environmental cases, including air, surface water and groundwater pollution cases, protecting Arkansas’s free-flowing rivers and streams, damage to downstream property owners from irresponsible development, and challenging permits to new facilities that threaten to harm the environment. Sam served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 2001-2016 and on the Arkansas State Board of Education from 2008-205. Recognized for his excellence in environmental litigation, Sam has been selected annually for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America since 1998 and Mid-South Super Lawyers since 2008.
